After successfully providing a managed service desk for this client in the mining industry for over a year, AfterDark were asked to review the current communications contracts which were held by a major Australian carrier.
Through negotiations and sourcing of services through AfterDark’s global partnerships and in-house knowledge, a solution was put forward which provided an improved global network (with less latency and higher bandwidth) and replaced the expensive telephony system with Microsoft Lync.
With all these improvements the client was expecting an increase in costs, however the last page of our proposal revealed more than they could have wished for – no less than $10,000 per month in cost savings in the first year!
